The Templeton Honors College is thrilled to announce a special concert event featuring The Lindsley Brothers on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in Clemens Hall, located in the newly opened Templeton Hall at Eastern University. Admission is free and open to the public.
This unique evening will showcase the Lindsley Brothers’ music and invite the audience into conversation with the band. Following the performance, the musicians will share reflections on their vocation, offering an inside look at the joys, challenges, and meaning of pursuing music as a profession. Templeton’s own Dr. Andy Rasmussen will join the band on bass guitar. Will there be Paradise Lost references in the evening’s set? You’ll have to be there to find out.
The Templeton Honors College is especially excited to host this event in Clemens Hall, a space thoughtfully designed for music and community gatherings. With its architecture tailored for concerts, recitals, and lectures, the hall boasts exceptional acoustics that allow music to be experienced with clarity and richness. For Templeton, Clemens Hall represents more than a performance venue—it is a place where students, faculty, alumni, and neighbors can come together to share in the beauty of art, learning, and community life.
We invite you to join us for an evening of music, conversation, and celebration as the Templeton Honors College opens its doors to the wider community in its new home.
