The opening reception for the Summer show at the Merriman Family Gallery was held on Saturday, May 23, 2026. On this
rainy Saturday, our community of alumni, faculty, and friends of the arts came to see The Open, a show combining the works of Gregory Deddo, Caleb Stoltzfus, and Rachel York.
After refreshments were served, guests gathered in the gallery to hear from the artists themselves as the Merriman Gallery Assistant, Max Kane, guided us through an artist talk. Though the artists all have distinct styles, those who experience this exhibit will see how these selected pieces talk to one another.
We are so honored to have hosted these three talented artists and are so grateful to be showing their works in the Merriman Gallery throughout this summer season! Make sure to stop by between now and September 11, before the show closes.
