Please join us for a special Honors Forum conversation with Jeanne Murray Walker, author of Leaping from the Burning Train: A Poet's Journey of Faith. She will be reading from her chapter "Saving Images" and discussing the role of art in saving her faith in Gough Great Room at 3pm Friday, February 16.
Jeanne Murray Walker is an Emeritus Professor at The University of Delaware, where she taught for forty years and led the Creative Writing Concentration. She is the award-winning author of 9 volumes of poetry as well as a number of plays. Professor Murray Walker currently serves as a poetry Mentor in The Seattle Pacific Low Residency MFA Program. Her recent memoir was published by Slant Books and edited by Greg Wolfe.
