Dr. Janet Soskice Visits the Templeton Honors College

Templeton Honors College students, faculty, staff, and friends had the pleasure of hearing and learning from renowned theologian, Dr. Janet Soskice from February 18-20. On Wednesday, students in Dr. Jonathan Reimer’s Historiography class discussed Soskice’s book The Sisters of Sinai with the author herself present.

Then, on Thursday evening, Dr. Soskice gave a lecture in Clemens Hall of Templeton Hall to a large and engaged audience.

Soskice spoke about her newest book, Naming God, and answered audience questions with grace and expertise.

Finally, on Friday afternoon, students and faculty who signed up joined Dr. Soskice for “Coffee & Conversation” in one of the seminar rooms of Templeton Hall. This was a special time of continued conversation after the public lecture on Thursday evening.

We are so grateful to have had Dr. Soskice join us for the Templeton Speaker Series!
